Reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon which goes like this.

Mom is preparing dinner. Calvin enters.
Calvin: Why you're crying, mom?
Mom: I am cutting an onion.
Calvin: Man, cooking is a tough job when you empathize with vegetables.

Man, I've got the same problems cutting onions.

But you can't wear goggles. Without the tears, the food just won't taste the same... you need to make a sacrifice for your food. Besides, what if you cook dinner for a date?

Silverine, you are not a much of a Catholic, aren't you :-) Sometimes I wonder what religion puts the most imprtance of happiness, and laughter. I don't think there is any though. Religion is all about rules, and rules are never about laughter. The Navajo Indians in Arizona have something called "Hozro", which is to walk in harmony with everything else. That is a neat concept.

Being a doctor, "salmonella" must be bring up images of sick people in your mind. For me, Salmonella somehow brings up the picture of a salmon :-) So there.

Salmon in sewer and Chicken with Salmonella doesn't sound appetizing to me!

But it looks like you cooked it well. If I wasn't using the excuse of being a vegetarian to avoid eating what you cooked, I would have said it sounds yummy!

I couldnt find this quiz so took the religion quiz. Here;s the results.
Buddhism

Your ideals mostly resemble those of the Buddhist faith. Spirituality is the most important thing in your life. You strive to live by all of your ideals, and live a very intellectually focused life.

100% spiritual.
20% faith-oriented
